At least I do. It shows respect for something you are a part of and to the people who are also part of it.
If I send a message to someone saying, "added", that usually means we are part of the same coven or alliance. If we are not, then I will put more to my message.
But if you read my profile then you will know we are part of the same coven/alliance and won't send me a dumbass message back saying, O.o like I'm a fucking weirdo or something.

Does anyone ever actually read journal entries or do they just add them to get their rating up? I have been wondering this for the past couple weeks. The only way for anyone to see your journal is to make 40 posts back to back. Then at least people will see it. If you make 1 post, other people are also posting at the same time so you have less of a chance of getting read.
What can you expect though on a site where people put up pictures instead of words and just rate profiles without reading them for the score.
